A strong needs statement is often the difference between a proposal that gets funded and one that doesn’t. It provides the initial critical understanding to a funder and is essential for the best proposals. This session helps participants move beyond generic problem statements and toward data-driven, evidence-backed narratives that make a compelling case to funders. Participants leave with a stronger sense of how to tell their program’s story on paper.

One and a half continuing education units (CEUs) will be available for participants with active social work and professional counseling licenses (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC).
