Talking With Families About Neurodiversity
Conversations with families about neurodivergence are some of the most delicate a provider has, and this session helps participants approach them with more confi dence. It covers communication strategies grounded in a strengths-based perspective, along with common concerns families raise. Participants leave better equipped to build trust and partnerships with the families they work with.
One and a half continuing education units (CEUs) will be available for participants with active social work and professional counseling licenses (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC). If you would like to request CEUs, you may do so in the evaluation survey sent after completing this training.
