SUMMARY:The Impact of Trauma on Youth
DESCRIPTION:During this training\, we will explore and understand the impact of trauma on youth and clients. This will include learning about ACEs\, brain development\, and common childhood trauma responses and behaviors. Together we will discuss trauma-informed care response strategies to build resilient youth\, families\, and staff. Two continuing education units (CEUs) will be available for participants with social work and professional counseling licenses (LSW\, LCSW\, LPC\, LCPC).
