DESCRIPTION:This 2-hour training session will provide participants with principles that will enhance their engagement practices by examining cultural sensitivity\, self-control\, values & beliefs and offer tips on creating quality and impactful outreach efforts. \nIn these sessions\, we will look at: \n-Effective and Relevant communication \n-Relationship Building \n-Visions and Goals \n-Celebration & Recognition \n-Needs Assessment \n-Assessing Sensitivity\, Perception\, and Beliefs \n-Organizing & Collaborating \n-Planning & Recruitment \n-Marketing \n-Effective Facilitation \n-Evaluation \n  \nTrainer: Sylvester Baugh \n  \nTwo continuing education units (CEUs) will be available for participants with social work and professional counseling licenses (LSW\, LCSW\, LPC\, LCPC).
