SUMMARY:Talking With Families About Neurodiversity
DESCRIPTION:Conversations with families about neurodivergence are some of the most delicate a provider has\, and this session helps participants approach them with more confi dence. It covers communication strategies grounded in a strengths-based perspective\, along with common concerns families raise. Participants leave better equipped to build trust and partnerships with the families they work with. \nOne and a half continuing education units (CEUs) will be available for participants with active social work and professional counseling licenses (LSW\, LCSW\, LPC\, LCPC).
