SUMMARY:Guiding\, Not Telling: Using Motivational Interviewing to Shape Session Focus Together
DESCRIPTION:Participants will learn how to collaboratively develop agendas and guide conversations in ways that support\, rather than steer\, the people they serve. This session introduces core MI strategies for establishing focus while honoring autonomy\, enhancing engagement\, and creating a shared sense of direction for the work ahead. \nThree Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be available for participants with social work and professional counseling licenses (LSW\, LCSW\, LPC\, LCPC).
