SUMMARY:Staff Engagement & Community Outreach
DESCRIPTION:This 2-hour training session will provide participants with principles that will enhance their engagement practices by examining cultural sensitivity\, self-control\, values & beliefs andoffer tips on creating quality and impactful outreach efforts. In these sessions\, we will look at:\n-Effective and Relevant communication\n-Relationship Building\n-Visions and Goals\n-Celebration & Recognition\n-Needs Assessment\n-Assessing Sensitivity\, Perception\, and Beliefs\n-Organizing & Collaborating\n-Planning & Recruitment\n-Marketing\n-Effective Facilitation\n-Evaluation \nTwo continuing education units (CEUs) will be available for participants with social work and professional counseling licenses (LSW\, LCSW\, LPC\, LCPC).
