The ICOY Impact of Trauma Training addresses organizational capacity building needs to create a more trauma informed staff. The training defines trauma, provides an overview of brain development and the signs and symptoms of trauma, addresses resiliency and recovery, and defines what it means to be trauma informed. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about complex, interpersonal, historical, and inter-generational traumas. This training will also touch on vicarious trauma and self-care.

Two continuing education units (CEUs) will be available for participants with social work and professional counseling licenses.
