This session will provide an open space for clinicians within the social service field to process experiences connected to limitations to supporting clients. Throughout this session the participants will collectively share ways in which they have supported clients through processing trauma. This will be an open group discussion in which sharing ideas, reflections, and success stories are welcomed!

About the Facilitator: Heshima has dedicated over 18 years to the social service and mental health field. Her professional experience has included parent education, family assessments, and individual and group therapy. In addition, Heshima coordinates workshops and trainings, faculty conferences, while supporting individuals and organizations with gaining an understanding about the many aspects of trauma-informed care.
